EUROCERT at InnoTrans 2026 in Berlin: A Consistent International Presence in the Railway Transport Sector

EUROCERT once again participated in InnoTrans 2026, the International Trade Fair for Transport Technology, held from 22 to 25 September 2026 in Berlin, reaffirming its consistent presence on the international stage.

This year’s event was particularly significant, as it marked 30 years since the first InnoTrans and recorded the highest participation in its history. A total of 3,190 exhibitors from 59 countries and 175,591 trade visitors from 128 countries gathered at Messe Berlin, once again highlighting the event’s strong international character.

At the heart of InnoTrans 2026 were the technologies shaping the future of transport, particularly the railway sector. Artificial intelligence, digitalisation, automation, cybersecurity and new propulsion technologies were among the key themes of this year’s event, while a total of 180 world premieres were presented, reflecting the dynamic pace of innovation within the industry.

EUROCERT’s presence with its own exhibition stand provided a valuable opportunity for meetings with representatives of the international railway market, the exchange of expertise and discussions on the evolving requirements of railway projects. At the same time, it offered the opportunity to showcase the specialised certification and conformity assessment services that EUROCERT provides in the railway transport sector.

In an environment where technological advancements and the increasing complexity of railway systems are creating new requirements for safety, interoperability, quality and compliance, the role of independent assessment and certification is becoming increasingly important.

EUROCERT has specialised experience in the assessment and certification of railway projects, infrastructure and rolling stock, having participated in major projects in Greece and abroad. Its activities in this sector form an integral part of the organisation’s international presence and technical expertise.

Participation in InnoTrans 2026 further strengthened EUROCERT’s engagement with the international market and provided another opportunity to develop new professional contacts and partnerships in a rapidly evolving industry.

With a continued focus on reliability, technical competence and international outreach, EUROCERT continues to invest in the development of its services in the railway sector and to support projects, companies and organisations in implementing European requirements for a safe, interoperable and modern railway network.
